Twin Cities Horror Fest
THE LONGEST RUNNING HORROR THEATRE FESTIVAL IN THE NATION RETURNS FOR IT'S 15th YEAR OF FRIGHTS! Explore all kinds of live horror theatre at the Crane Theatre in Minneapolis, MN, October 16-31, 2026.
We believe horror is for everyone. TCHF is a juried festival whose goal is to feature the many facets of horror through varying creators across artistic disciplines (theatre, dance, cabaret, puppetry, short film festival, spooky kids programming, etc), while also creating a superb experience for our participants and patrons. Our artist-centric vision includes maximizing artist payouts by providing 100% of ticket sales to participating producers and awarding production fee assistance through our BIPOC Artist Fund.
Four Humors Theater launched the festival in 2012 as a juried, horror- themed, live-performance arts festival spanning fifteen days on and before Halloween. In 2014, several artists and producers -- many of whom were involved with the first two seasons -- formalized their commitment to continuing TCHF by forming United Festival Group, LLC, which oversaw festival operations for 5 years. In the summer of 2019, TCHF transitioned its organizational structure to become a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
