And sometimes, we simply need a good time. Hip Hop Karaoke Night, Volume Eleven of the Urgent Emergent Performance Art Series powered by TruArtSpeaks, is here to provide exactly that. Designed as a night to uplift our favorite songs within the Hip Hop canon, we have curated some of our favorite Twin Cities artists to feature, singing both a cover song and an original. We have also created open spaces for YOU to rock the mic by way of rapping your favorite Hip Hop record on the Icehouse stage.

Hip Hop didn't begin as a hierarchy, it began in a cypher centering creative expression. This event intends to bring that feeling back. Come be in a moment of joy with us and a few favs, including DJ Digie on the 1s and 2s and Tish Jones as your MC for the evening. Doors and sign up are at 6:00pm, with limited performance slots, and the party starts at 7:00pm. Tickets are $10 and on sale now can be purchased on truartspeaks.org
