"We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty." - Maya Angelou

Kion Rose’s debut headlining show is coming to you on December 11th at Icehouse! This event celebrates the releases of his first two full-length projects: SEASONS and SEASONS’ SEQUEL — two stories bound together by the concepts of Love, Loss, Longing, and Living. Love is something to be celebrated, as well as the lessons we learn and the growth we endure from the losses we obtain. Like Kion Rose himself, the show will be genre bending, from R&B to Afrobeats and beyond. With the show coming right in the middle of the holidays, there’s no better time to let love flow and to share it with those you hold dear.

WHAT TO EXPECT: Performances by Kwame J, Vinny Franco, (opener 3?), with (host?) as your MC and DJ Rae as your house DJ.

Artist Bio: Emerging from the Twin Cities with a sound that effortlessly bridges Hip-Hop, R&B, and Afrobeats, Kion Rose is an artist redefining what it means to be genreless in today's music landscape. The Nigerian American singer, songwriter, and recording artist has built a reputation for crafting emotionally resonant records that pair melodic vulnerability with undeniable confidence, creating a body of work that feels both deeply personal and universally relatable. Raised in Saint Paul, Minnesota, Kion Rose developed an artistic perspective shaped by multiple cultures, experiences, and musical traditions. Rather than chasing trends, Kion has continued to expand his artistic range, consistently releasing music that reflects growth, ambition, and a commitment to genuine self-expression.
